Tile Subscription Services
There are two Tile subscriptions; Premium and Protect. Premium features include proactive Smart Alert notifications when they leave something behind. They can check their item’s location history and also receive free batteries by mail. Protect features a warranty; if you lose something, we’ll reimburse you up to $1,000.
THE GOAL
• Increase conversion of non-subscribers and increase retention of subscribers.
• Move the company away from hardware-only revenue (worth 1x) to Saas annual reoccurring revenue (5x value) to increase the value of the business for either an IPO or an acquisition.
NORTHSTAR
Add value to the customer, and good things will follow for them and the business.
CHALLENGES
• Influence product strategy and roadmap, resources, and time.
• Build two global tiers of subscription services.
MY ROLE
Collaborated on research to produce a multi-year product strategy. Stakeholder negotiation and alignment. Guided design vision, strategy, UX/UI, prototyping, A/B testing, validation, and implementation. And even some hands-on design work.
